Job Description
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer for a client based in Cubao.
This is an on-site work that may require occasional evening or weekend support.
The Cloud Engineer (OpenShift/OCP) is responsible for managing and maintaining container platforms primarily based on Red Hat OpenShift and related cloud-native technologies. This role ensures the availability scalability and performance of containerized applications across hybrid environments enabling digital transformation journey.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles.
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift or equivalent certifications preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong proficiency in OpenShift Kubernetes and containerization tools.
- Experience in cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
- Familiar with DevOps pipelines GitOps workflows and automation scripts.
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration and scripting.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install configure and manage OpenShift clusters and containerized workloads.
- Build test and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles.
- Monitor and ensure cloud service health and resolve technical issues proactively.
- Apply patching vulnerability remediation and security configuration baselines.
- Support container orchestration automation and system backups.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance.
