Job Description
Are you an experienced dialysis nurse leader looking to take the next step in your career Join our dedicated team in South Burlington VT and make a meaningful impact on patients lives as a Renal Nurse Supervisor.
In this leadership role you will oversee the daily operations of a dialysis unit support a team of skilled nurses and technicians and ensure high-quality patient care while driving compliance safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and operational leadership for the dialysis unit
- Supervise mentor and develop nursing staff and clinical teams
- Manage scheduling training performance reviews and recruitment
- Ensure compliance with state federal and regulatory requirements
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and prepare for dialysis unit surveys
- Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Qualifications Required:
- 2 years of recent dialysis RN experience (not in distant past)
- Proven dialysis leadership experience (Facility Administrator Nurse Manager Clinical Manager etc.)
- Active Vermont RN license (or willingness to obtain before start)
- Strong people management skills including hiring training performance management and team building
Qualifications Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with dialysis unit surveys and inspections
- Background in quality improvement initiatives
