Job Description

The HR Generalist is responsible for overseeing daily HR operations ensuring compliance with labor laws and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role requires a balance of administrative expertise and interpersonal skills to support employees and management located in Greater Atlanta and collaborating remotely and/or across multiple regional offices. This person in this role will also collaborate on special projects with other members of the HR Retention Team in all areas where Ampirical has an employee presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding:
    • Facilitate New Employee Onboarding in your region by working with the recruitment and learning and development leads to ensure a smooth introduction to the company.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Address workplace concerns mediate conflicts and promote a healthy work environment.
    • Work closely with Supervisors and Managers to ensure the successful execution of Performance Improvement Plans and other disciplinary documents.
    • Facilitate Termination meetings as needed.
  • Performance Management:
    • Work with employees and their supervisors to identify areas of growth and opportunity support them with tools and guidance that will lead to optimal performance in the Greater Atlanta Region.
  • Compliance & Policy Management:
    • Ensure adherence to labor laws update company policies and maintain HR documentation.
  • Training & Development:
    • Work with the learning and development lead to identify workshops and training sessions to enhance employee skills.
    • Help organize and facilitate any onsite training and development activities.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting:
    • Analyze workforce data related to turnover engagement and productivity.
  • Other:
    • Participate in project planning and execution for company-wide people initiatives.
    • Attend all HR departmental staff meetings remotely.
    • Must be willing to travel to Louisiana semi-annually.

    Qualifications

    • Education:
      • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
    • Experience:
      • Typically requires 3 to 7 yearsof HR experience.
    • Skills:
      • Strong understanding of HR practices labor laws and proficiency in HR software.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills
      • Ability to communicate and influence well over Microsoft Teams Channels (Video Call; Chat)
    • Certifications:
      • SHRM-CP PHR or other relevant HR certifications preferred.
