Reporting directly to the TSO Team Leader the Technical Support Officer (TSO) will be part of a busy and collaborative team providing first and secondlevel technical support for computer systems software and hardware issues both remotely and facetoface.

This is a 12month Fixed Term Full Time position based in our Brisbane Group Office and working across our Queensland hospitals and aged care sites. You will also take part in our afterhours oncall roster.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Provide highquality technical assistance and support for computer systems hardware software printers telephony and infrastructure
  • Deliver prompt and effective resolutions to clients requirements through first and second level technical support
  • Travel to SVHA facilities/sites to provide technical support and resolve incidents and service requests and participate in the afterhours oncall roster
  • Troubleshoot PCs notebooks desktop peripherals and mobile devices
  • Administer printing faxing and software fax solutions
  • Provide support for video conferencing and A/V including Microsoft Teams clients and peripherals

Things that work for us:

  • Current Australian drivers license and reliable vehicle is required for this role
  • Certificate IV in Information Technology Support (or equivalent IT qualification)
  • Experience in a busy Help Desk/Service Desk role in a medium to large organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills customer servicefocused and fantastic troubleshooting skills
  • Strong knowledge of current Microsoft technologies (server desktop and application) PC Hardware and peripheral knowledge and skills as well as exceptional documentation and troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to commit to fulltime hours including afterhours oncall requirements as detailed above
