As a member of the Global Technical Support team your area of responsibilities include the following:
- Providing specialized technical support for your product group(s)
- Developing and delivering product training for your product group(s)
- Contributing to our product knowledge database
- Participating in project development
Technical support
- Answer inquiries
- Provide application support
- Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues
- Handle complaints
- Visit customers for demos installations or troubleshooting
- Support marketing R&D quality assurance regulatory affairs and/or production during all stages of the product lifecycle
Product training
- Maintain certification as a certified trainer
- Develop training courses
- Plan prepare and deliver training courses
Knowledge database
- Contribute knowledge
- Review and approve entries created by others
Participate in project development for new processes systems organization etc.
Support and training will be provided to internal and external customers globally.
This position is office-based will involve weekend shifts (home-based) and requires occasional international travel (on average 2 weeks per quarter).
Qualifications :
- Masters or Ph.D. Degree in natural science (biology biotechnology or medicine) or a comparable scientific education;
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Extensive experience in different biological fields like immunology hematology oncology neuroscience and/or stem cell biology;
- Hands-on experience with flow cytometry microscopy high-content analysis cell processing transfusion medicine and/or medical devices;
- Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential;
- Additional desired languages: Chinese Korean Japanese German.
