Join a company that values creativity collaboration and excellence.Position Summary:Olympus Group is seeking a Sewing Production Manager to oversee the productivity quality and safety of our sewing department. This leadership role will manage a team ensuring efficient operations and the timely delivery of sewn products. This is also a working manager position.Key Responsibilities:- Lead the recruitment hiring and training of sewing department staff.
- Analyze annual sales forecasts to determine staffing needs.
- Oversee and manage the sewing production schedule and job operations.
- Ensure employee training and skill development are current and effective.
- Monitor and improve department metrics including productivity efficiency and utilization.
- Enforce and improve safe work practices; identify and eliminate safety risks.
- Maintain and manage inventory levels and production supplies.
- Coordinate with Sales and Production teams to meet shipping deadlines.
- Collaborate with other Olympus locations to develop and standardize best practices.
- Research and implement new technologies and techniques for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant management experience in a production environment.
- Strong leadership and problemsolving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be selfmotivated organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours when required.
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) highly preferred.
