BIG CREEK SURGERY CENTER REGISTERED NURSE
Big Creek Surgery Center of Southwest General is a freestanding stateoftheart outpatient surgical facility. They have 4 main ORs and 2 procedure rooms offering orthopedic plastics ENT podiatry pediatric dental and pain block procedures.
The ambulatory surgery center is the ideal setting to consider if you desire to transition from bedside nursing. Family friendly hours Monday through Friday no weekends nights or call.
HOURS:
POSITION SUMMARY:
A professional caregiver who plans provides and directs patient care and teaching utilizing the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards and physician orders. They act as a liaison between physicians patient and family and collaborates with other health care members. Theyassist in the orientation process of new personnel and may participate in health center and department committees. The staff nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age groups according to specific chronological age developmental age and/or psychosocial maturity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure by Ohio State Board of Nursing.
Required length of experience:
Previous experience in specific nursing area required such as preadmission testing circulating PACU OR etc.
Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
CPR BLS required ACLS preferred.
