As a Warehouse Team Lead you will be based in our office in Leuven and will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating daily operations within our warehouse team. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring efficient inventory management accurate product distribution and compliance with safety regulations. You will lead coach and develop a team of warehouse coordinators to achieve operational objectives and maintain high levels of satisfaction for both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead coach and develop a team of warehouse staff to meet performance and safety standards.
- Allocate tasks and monitor progress to ensure daily targets are met.
- Conduct daily team briefings delegate work assignments and provide clear instructions.
- Monitor productivity and provide feedback or corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure health and safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g. logistics inventory operations).
- Assist in stock control quality checks and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to improve warehouse processes.
Qualifications :
About You:
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment preferably in a supervisory role.
- Bachelors degree is advantageous but not required; equivalent professional experience is equally valued.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations inventory control and safety standards.
- Supply chain and shipping experience is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate discipline and support team members effectively.
- Excellent organisational and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
- A valid forklift license is required.
