Raytheons LADS (Land & Air Defense Systems) Strategic Business Unit is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual for the role of Requirements and CapabilitiesArmy Aviation and Offensive & Defensive Fires Portfolio Leadat the Associate Director level. This position involves interfacing with PEO Aviation Ft. Novosel AvMC PEO Missiles and Space and its subordinate programs requiring extensive knowledge of the customers organization processes and mission sets. The Associate Director will be responsible for implementing innovative business capture strategies and conducting effective customer engagements. While primarily based within the LADS organization this role also entails supporting other Raytheon Strategic Business Units and RTX businesses in achieving Army Aviation objectives and Fires initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple projects collaborating with crossfunctional teams across various geographic locations and demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders is crucial. The Associate Director should possess a deep understanding of the Army Aviation sector and exhibit strategic thinking and leadership capabilities to drive success across our initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Customer Interface and Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for Army Aviation and coordination between Offensive & Defensive Fires stakeholders and respective subordinate commands building and maintaining strong relationships. Understand and align our strategies with the customers organizational processes and mission sets.
  • Business Capture Strategies and Pipeline Development: Develop and implement creative and effective business capture strategies tailored to Army Aviations and Fires unique requirements and goals including growth pipeline development
  • Crossbusiness Support: While primarily homeroomed within the LADS organization provide support to other Raytheon Strategic Business Units and RTX businesses in developing and achieving their Army Aviation and Fires objectives
  • Capture Management: Manage multiple captures simultaneously ensuring all capture gates and plan deliverables are delivered on time within scope and budget. Coordinate with crossfunctional teams located in various geographic locations.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage internal and external stakeholders. Facilitate collaboration and consensus across different teams and departments
  • Strategic Development: Contribute to the strategic planning and development of programs that align with Army Aviations and the Fires community of stakeholders on current and future needs
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on extensive industry knowledge and customer requirements

  • Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations (GGR) at the Federal State/Local on Public Policy in their advocation and development of new technologies and our solutions.
  • Travel 30% domestic

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree in a related field such as Business Management/Development/Engineering and a minimum of 12 years working with the Department of Defense or an Advanced Degree (MBA or MS of national security international affairs engineering) and a minimum of 10 years of experience
  • 10 years of experience working directly with the US Army particularly with Aviation and/or Combat Arms organizations operations budgeting and/or Army acquisition processes
  • US Army Officer

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Knowledge of cross site and enterprise level planning and implementation practices
  • Understanding Raytheons Engineering Finance Contracts and Capture practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with capture management project and/or program management
  • Experience (10 years) with domestic DoD customers

The salary range for this role is 147000 USD 295000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.
