Job Description
Once Upon is growing and were now ready to welcome a new colleague who can take full ownership of our Internal IT. This role combines handson technical work with strategic thinking from support and system configuration to IT security GDPR compliance and internal tooling. Youll have the opportunity to shape how our Internal IT is run across the company and work closely with teams from all areas of the organization.

About the role
This role reports to our CTO but works independently across all departments. While youll collaborate with developers our Software Engineering Managers and others with tech experience you will be the primary goto person for the entire staff and the overall expert within Internal IT. During onboarding youll work closely with the CTO and Software Engineering Managers to transfer knowledge from our current setup and identify areas for improvement.
Some of the things youll do at Once Upon:
- Own and maintain our internal IT data and AI policy.
- Configure administer and continuously improve core IT services (Google Workspace Slack Miro etc.)
- Handle IT security at strategic and operational levels; ensure GDPR compliance
- Drive automation of key internal processes such as preboarding onboarding and offboarding
- Provide internal technical support and guidance across the organization
- Evaluate and procure new hardware software and services based on companywide needs
- Lead or participate in vendor discussions and agreements
- Oversee the IT budget and purchasing routines
- Manage local IT infrastructure (networks printers) and mediarelated setups at our Skellefte HQ
- Educate the organization on IT tools routines and security best practices
Your background
To thrive in this role you should have extensive and documented experience in Internal IT or a similar role. You should be comfortable working independently and proactively balancing longterm improvements with everyday handson tasks.
We believe you have:
- Broad technical knowledge including in Mac environments and cloudbased systems
- Experience working with Google Workspace and SaaSbased infrastructure
- Strong interest and experience in IT security policy development and GDPR compliance
- Experience in the automation of IT processes and service management
- The ability to navigate between individual user support and strategic systemlevel thinking

Location
Our headquarters is located in Skellefte in the North of Sweden. We also have colleagues working from our offices in Pite rnskldsvik and Stockholm but for the role as IT Specialist we see great value in finding our candidate for employment at our office in Skellefte.
