Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant AppDynamics Monitoring Role
We are seeking a proactive and detailoriented AppDynamics Monitoring Engineer to join our IT Operations team. This role is responsible for the configuration maintenance and optimization of AppDynamics for endtoend application performance monitoring (APM). The ideal candidate will help ensure high availability reliability and performance across our digital platforms.
Responsibilities
Install configure and manage AppDynamics agents across application tiers (Java .NET etc.)
Develop and maintain custom dashboards health rules alerts and business transaction monitoring.
Collaborate with DevOps SREs and application teams to instrument applications for optimal observability.
Analyze APM data to detect performance anomalies application bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
Perform synthetic monitoring and realuser monitoring (RUM) configuration.
Participate in incident response by providing insights and root cause analysis using AppDynamics data.
Integrate AppDynamics with other monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk ServiceNow PagerDuty).
Stay updated on new AppDynamics features and best practices; drive continuous improvements.
Generate regular performance reports and KPIs for stakeholders.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
MCA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Solid understanding of application architectures (web servers application servers databases etc.)
Experience with instrumentation in Java .NET or other supported environments.
Knowledge of APM concepts such as business transactions tiers backends and health rules.
Familiarity with log analysis synthetic transactions and RUM.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
