The Mission
PODER Elementary is an innovative collegeprep school focused on proficiency. Student scores in the core subjects exceed national and state averages.
Position Summary
PODER Elementary is a smallschool environment where teachers track individual students and tailor instruction accordingly. There is a heavy focus on classroom management where behavior disruptions are minimized. Seeking creative minds who enjoy supporting students academic and social/emotional needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or higher
- Able to pass a background check
- Passion and/or experience working with ages 512 Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (not required) Substitute License (required).
Responsibilities
- Provide small group and individual instruction conduct data review extra sanitation academic support classroom coverage & social/emotional support as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill students academic & social/emotional needs Be a selfmotivated team player ready to support needs of students staff and overall school
The working hours for this position are 11:00 am to 8:00 pm with a one hour break for lunch.
