Job Description
Our client is looking for an Operations Director / General Manager to join their team. It is an exciting transformation project for the right senior management professional.
Salary:
Negotiable
Responsibilities:
- The Operations Director / General Manager will oversee the management and strategic direction of the companys activities by development and implementation of strategic business plans.
- This role will play a key part in ensuring daily operations run smoothly managing large-scale budgets and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
- Team Leadership and management will also play a crucial part to ensure you have the right team to assist with implementing business plans and taking the company forward to the next level all the while ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations industry standards and company policies.
Key Skills:
- Strong financial / budgeting understanding.
- Must be comfortable with making and seeing through business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Degree MBA/MBL
- 10 years of senior management experience within the transport or logistics sector
