Job Description:
As the Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr HRBP) for Operations you will be accountable for developing our people strategy and supporting organizational success. You will partner with senior leaders across various functions to understand business priorities and develop and drive strategic HR initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in leading HR programs that support a high performing culture.
As a change agent the Sr HRBP will continually develop and support an engaged inclusive work environment. You will provide mentorship to leaders on employment law policy application talent acquisition and retention performance management change management and engagement initiatives. Your expertise will help us build a culture of excellence!
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with operations leadership to implement people strategies that support talent development and drive efficiency safety and quality.
Provide advice and leadership on all HR aspects of business decisions and ensure alignment with Allisons Values and Competencies.
Act as a change agent to continually develop an engaged inclusive work environment.
Lead workforce analytics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and inform strategic people decisions.
Offer expert mentorship and problem resolution on employee relations matters.
Lead talent acquisition efforts ensuring we attract and hire the best talent to meet our business needs.
Facilitate talent reviews and drive workforce and succession planning to ensure operational workforce readiness and longterm organizational success.
Partner with business leaders to implement leadership development programs that cultivate a pipeline of future leaders.
Guide leaders through SMART goal setting mentoring for performance and performance calibration to advance team and individual performance.
Develop training and development strategies and ensure frontline leadership and operations employees have the necessary skills and career development plans.
Educate leaders on manager selfservice tools and assist with directing transactional requests to the HR services center.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management Business Organizational Management or a related field is preferred but equivalent experience will be considered.
Ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience in Human Resources preferably within a manufacturing environment. HRCI or SHRM certification is preferred.
3 years of experience supporting HR for Operations.
Experience with HRIS systems with Workday preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Excel PowerPoint Word Access and Outlook.
Experience:
Previous experience in the areas of employee relations employee engagement talent acquisition and development and workforce planning.
Strong business sense with the ability to understand strategic priorities and recommend effective people solutions.
Ability to collaborate with and influence all levels within the organization.
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Proficiency with managing workforce analytics.
Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws including EEO AA FMLA ADA unemployment and workers compensation.
