Job Description
The ideal candidate will have experience with AxiomSL ControllerView.
A leading financial institution is seeking an experienced AxiomSL Business Analyst to support the implementation and enhancement of U.S. and European regulatory reporting processes. This is a dual-hatted role requiring both strategic business analysis and hands-on technical expertise in AxiomSL ControllerView. The ideal candidate will liaise across Finance IT and Risk to manage regulatory changes data quality initiatives control framework enhancements and reporting automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with CFO Controllers and other senior stakeholders to interpret regulatory changes and determine impacts across products data elements and reporting logic
- Lead end-to-end requirements gathering for new or evolving regulatory reports (e.g. FFIEC 041/051 FR 2900 FR 2644)
- Analyze and document current vs. future state workflows including manual processes and automation opportunities
- Develop frameworks for data/report certification KRIs control assessments and attestation procedures
- Prepare regulatory-compliant working papers and audit-ready documentation
- Support restatement processes and provide training for finance and regulatory reporting teams
- Serve as subject matter expert on AxiomSL ControllerView (v10 preferred)
- Design and maintain mappings transformations aggregations workflows business rules and FreeForm reports
- Perform data validation reconciliation and root cause analysis for regulatory reporting exceptions
- Collaborate with IT to implement changes and enhancements; lead functional testing and QA cycles
- Maintain accurate data lineage documentation for all critical data elements
- Monitor and troubleshoot end-to-end AxiomSL processing
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting business/data analysis or financial operations
- Deep knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports (FRB FFIEC etc.) and familiarity with European supplements
- Proficiency in AxiomSL ControllerView including development and configuration
- Strong Excel and documentation skills (Word Visio etc.)
- Bachelors degree required; finance accounting or technical field preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively across business and technology teams
- Highly organized detail-oriented and capable of managing competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Experience with data remediation governance and control framework evaluation
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting standards and supervisory expectations
- Prior experience preparing and delivering executive-level impact assessments
