Job Description
Job Title: Operations Supervisor (Day Shift)
Location: Longueuil Quebec Canada - Onsite
Job Description:
- Supervise daily production operations within a high-tech manufacturing setting
- Plan schedules assign tasks conduct performance evaluations and lead training efforts
- Promote team engagement and foster a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement
- Monitor and ensure achievement of operational KPIs including quality delivery safety and efficiency
- Oversee shift transitions and maintain alignment between cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support strategic projects and process improvements
- Participate in recruitment and budget planning activities
- Champion organizational change and contribute to transformation initiatives
- Organize and participate in team and leadership meetings
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Operations Management Business Administration Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting (aerospace experience is a plus)
- Experience in a unionized environment is considered an asset
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- High degree of autonomy and ability to work under pressure
- Functional knowledge of English required to interpret technical documentation; French fluency is essential for day-to-day operations
- Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident due to export control guidelines.
- Aerospace experience required.
