About the role:
Join Saab Australia as a Cyber Security Lead!
Saab Australia is seeking a Cyber Security Lead to join our Professional Services Cyber Security and Risk Consulting Team.
This is a pivotal leadership role perfect for someone who thrives in a clientfacing environment and is passionate about delivering bestinclass cybersecurity services.
As a Lead Cyber Security Consultant you will play a central role in leading the delivery of complex cyber and risk consulting engagements.
Youll be a trusted advisor to both internal and external stakeholders helping shape security postures build capability and grow Saabs consulting practice.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver expertlevel cyber security advice and consulting services to Saab clients and internal teams.
- Lead engagements across the full range of cyber domains including:
- Governance Risk Management & Compliance (GRC)
- ICT Security Architecture
- Security Operations and Technical Testing
- Cyber Security Culture & Awareness
- Identify pursue and win new business opportunities in the cyber risk and advisory space.
- Drive the development of robust Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) aligned with standards such as ISO 27001 ISM and PSPF.
- Provide leadership mentoring and strategic direction to a growing team of security consultants.
- Represent Saab at industry events and with key partners building strong collaborative relationships.
- Contribute to internal projects to strengthen Saabs own cyber security posture and compliance.
About you
Experience & Skills:
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills ideally in a consulting or clientfacing role.
- Deep expertise in developing and implementing ISMS and security frameworks.
- Strong understanding of:
- ISM PSPF ISO 27001 and related compliance and accreditation processes
- Endtoend security project lifecycle
- Security architecture and ICT integration
- Business development acumen able to identify and secure consulting opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
Personal Attributes:
- Selfaware accountable and committed to personal and team development.
- Excellent communicator able to set clear expectations and provide feedback.
As Defence security clearance is required for this role applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
