Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as a primary contact and representative for ALGS customers.
Provide clear timely responsiveness and detailed quotations to the assigned customer base. This may require after hours calls.
Work with internal/external customers to clarify and resolve issues or determining what issues require escalations
Communicate with customer to manage their delivery priorities providing the customer with a timeline and updates related to any changes on deliveries.
Maintain communication with customers to set expectations and deliver updates accordingly.
Represent ALGS in a professional innovative positive proactive manner.
Work with customers to forecast their incoming units on daily monthly quarterly yearly and any holiday requirements.
Support finance dept. to resolve long standing AR issues.
Maintain accurate and uptodate Data & Records.
Share records of customer interactions and transactions (inquires comments complaints) with Manager. Uses this information to provide recommendations for better processes.
Provide weekly status reports to customer as provided by purchasing
Job duties may include working with min/max inventory.
Job duties may include cycle counts.
Cross training to purchasing/receiving when available.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or an equivalent
Experience in industry environment focusing on customer relationships account development practices sales and/or marketing.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficient in Pentagon or similar software preferred
Must be multitask/project oriented with the ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced industry meeting established timelines.
Excellent verbal writing listening and interpersonal skills are required to interact with all functional levels of internal and external contacts.
Detail orientated and organized.
Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook Word PowerPoint and Excel).
Ability to generate various types of reports.
Willing to maintain availability via phone/email outside of regular working hours.
Strong analytical and decisionmaking skills with ability to exercise informed risk taking in order to make judgment calls.
Ability to prioritize and to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
Requires prolonged periods of sitting at desk.
Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements such as movement of wrists hands fingers while typing.
May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 10lbs. (standard for office roles)
