Job Description
Amazons AGI Data Services organization is looking for a Senior Manager of Product Management Technical for its Data Quality business unit. The purpose of the role is to establish and drive the evolution of the set of technology used to accurately measure and improve data quality of our humanintheloop processes. Come be part of an initiative that is missioncritical to building and improving the justlaunched Amazon Nova foundational models!
Today AGI Data Services produces tens of millions of units of humancreated data that is used to train and finetune large language models. These data must be evaluated based on whether they were generated following the conventions defined by the workflow on dimensions such as complexity correctness helpfulness and harmfulness. Filtering out high quality data from low quality is of paramount importance as it ensures that we maximize our chances of successfully improvement performance of the model under test.
To achieve this objective the Data Quality organization is responsible for auditing individual units of data as well as building an automated system using a large language model to predict and filter high quality units of data from low. The software that we design to solve these problems must be highly available and scalable given the number of quality auditors and teams that rely on these capabilities on a daily basis. The stakeholders for these products are varied in their skill sets and responsibilities throughout the organization and company ranging from highlytechnical Applied Scientists to the Device Associates who need highlypersonalized feedback to improve their daily quality.
6 years of team management experience
Bachelors degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience leading crossfunctional software development teams operations UX Designer and other Product Managers
Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
Experience building systems that assess data quality.
Experience soliciting requirements from and building systems that are primarily used by Applied and Research Scientists.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
