Director Mercury Sales & Service

Job Summary:

Player 15 Group includes several companies and many collaborative departments that support the Phoenix Suns Phoenix Mercury and PHX Arena.

Would you like to win championships and create sustained success Player 15 Group is looking for individuals who are committed to pursuing excellence and being a part of creating memorable experiences.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivatedDirector Mercury Sales & Service to lead the strategic growth and of all ticketing initiatives driving revenue enhancing member engagement and delivering exceptional fan experiences. This role will oversee all aspects of season ticket memberships group sales premium hospitality and retention efforts ensuring the Mercury continue to build one of the premier ticketing operations in the WNBA.

What You Will Do:

Revenue Generation & Sales :

  • Develop and implement innovative outbound sales strategies to drive new business across all ticketing products including fullseason partial plans group sales and premium experiences.
  • Execute revenuegenerating initiatives dedicated sales campaigns and special events.
  • Leverage insights to identify key segments within market to drive lead acquisition to drive campaign effectiveness

Member Engagement & Customer Experience:

  • Design and implement bestinclass membership experience to enhance retention and increase renewal rates.
  • Lead memberexclusive benefits events and experiences that add value to season ticket members.
  • Develop personalized communication strategies to enhance customer relationships and engagement.
  • Collaborate internally to create memorable experiences for ticket members throughout the calendar.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously enhance the Mercury fan experience.

Performance Management & Sales Leadership:

  • Recruit train and develop a highperforming sales and service team fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Set and track individual and team performance goals ensuring alignment with overall revenue targets.
  • Provide ongoing coaching mentorship and professional development to elevate team performance.
  • Implement sales contests incentive programs and recognition initiatives to drive motivation and results.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends implementing best practices and innovative approaches to ticketing sales and service.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

  • Strategic thinker capable of identifying opportunities analyzing data and implementing successful sales tactics.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms analytics tools and presentation software to track performance and enhance sales efforts.
  • Commitment to delivering a whiteglove service experience ensuring client satisfaction and longterm retention.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Flexible availability including the willingness to work evenings weekends and select holidays as required for games and events.

Experience/ Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business marketing sports management or a related field from an accredited institution preferred
  • 46 years of outbound specific sales and/or service experience within the sports and entertainment industry.
  • 35 years managing sales and/or service teams within the sports and entertainment industry.
