Job Description
You will play a key role in:
- Providing technical support in the areas of indirect taxes particularly state taxes including stamp duty and land tax across all jurisdictions to all our tax teams
- Managing and maintain all aspects of the client relationships and portfolio
- Providing commercial and pragmatic indirect tax advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio of clients
- Advising on crossborder transactions business structuring M&As asset restructuring succession and wealth planning; undertaking tax due diligence and assisting with revenue office reviews and audits.
- Coaching and mentoring staff members
- Delivery of technical training sessions to the team and broader tax practice.

Your Experience

- Ideally 35 years experience in a legal firm second tier firm Big4 firm or tax authorities (e.g. ATO or state revenue offices)
- Background in tax law would be highly beneficial for this opportunity
- Strong knowledge and experience in private clients/middle market
- Excellent tax technical capabilities
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills and ability to build strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders

Qualifications :
We are looking for applicant who have tertiary qualifications in law commerce and other relevant fields.
