The role is part of the InSpace Systems business unit which is focused on addressing two of the most compelling challenges in spaceflight today: space infrastructure and increasing mobility onorbit.

As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers you will be a key player in creating a groundbreaking software simulation testbed. Join our team and be at the forefront of innovation taking ownership of planning architectural design requirements gathering and certification for the exciting new software simulation testbed.

Your expertise will be vital in owning the release planning and management ensuring every detail is meticulously covered. Youll provide mentorship to both the development and testing teams guiding them in implementing simulation solutions crucial for the projects success. Moreover youll develop sophisticated simulation models that precisely reflect scenarios and craft detailed test scripts to guarantee integration and test events.

Collaborate with diverse teammates and valued customers to capture essential requirements contributing to the creation of a comprehensive testbed for the Blue Ring Spacecraft that supports a wide range of development and operational activities.

Responsibilities:

• Craft sophisticated and accurate satellite simulation models that push the boundaries of whats possible

• Oversee the comprehensive software release strategy meticulous coordination and detailed documentation processes

• Develop intricate test scripts designed to ensure detailed integration and the success of crucial test events

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related technical field

• 5 years of relevant proven expertise in developing software simulation testbeds for innovative systems

• Proficient in C / C development with a strong technical prowess

• Skilled in Python or similar scripting languages enhancing automation and efficiency

• Indepth knowledge of realtime operating systems and embedded control systems including APIs interfaces and device drivers

• Familiarity with communication protocols such as UDP/TCP I2C UART etc.

• Exceptionally organized great teammate with stellar written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to earn trust maintain positive and professional relationships and contribute to a culture of inclusion

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field

• 8 years in largescale engineering systems

• Skilled in vehicle software simulation integration

• Proficient with Docker Kubernetes and containerization

• Handson with CI/CD pipelines Git GitLab or GitHub

• Strong debugging at the softwarehardware interface

• Familiar with hardware emulation like Simics

• Expertise in customizing continuous integration systems

• Understanding of electrical and electronic engineering concepts

• Solid grasp of IP networking

• Competent in MATLAB and Simulink

• Acquainted with GNC systems and 6DOF dynamics

• Proficient with DOORs Next Generation SVN Jenkins
