Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer whos not just technically sharp but also culturally aligned. Youll help us evolve a large monolithic codebase into a modular scalable architecture. Youll join a 25-person platform team that owns everything from development and infrastructure to testing and documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities.
This isnt just another engineering role. Youll be a key player in reimagining the Lasernet platformbalancing the demands of legacy systems with the excitement of greenfield development.
What youll do:
- Lead the charge in refactoring and modernising our core codebase.
- Dive deep into problems before jumping to solutionscontext is everything.
- Work in agile sprints contributing to planning estimation and delivery.
- Own your work end-to-end balancing pragmatism with craftsmanship.
- Be a steward of the codebaseleave it better than you found it.
- Navigate the old and the newlegacy systems and cutting-edge tech.
- Share knowledge review code and help your teammates level up.
Knowledge and Experience.
Must-haves:
- 510 years of hands-on software development across varied domains.
- Real-world experience modernising monolithic codebases.
- Strong C skills and Windows Desktop Development (Win32 is a bonus).
- Solid understanding of desktop application development.
- Experience working in a platform team setup.
- Proven commitment to long-term projects and team continuity.
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with the Qt Framework.
- Experience with .NET and C#.
- Front-end/full-stack chops with HTML React TypeScript .
- Low-level programming experience (C C Rust) and systems knowledge.
