Senior Program Specialist Workplace Services HQ

The Sr. Program Specialist Workplace Services at Marriott International serves as a primary contact for HQ campus functions guest and associate inquiries and service requests. This role involves coordinating with Workplace Services/Facilities teams supporting janitorial operations and security teams and collaborating with other specialists for daily tasks and event planning. The specialist provides professional and timely assistance to associates supports Workplace Management leadership and ensures efficient departmental operations while adhering to all standards and policies.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

Required

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year experience in the event management food and beverage or related professional area
• Is proficient using Microsoft Excel Word Access PowerPoint and Outlook computer programs

Preferred

• Customer serviceoriented disposition and skillset
• Ability to interact with executive level leadership VIP guests and associates at all organizational levels
• Communicates clearly and effectively and provides progress and status updates on open inquiries/requests

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

• Serves as one of the initial points of contact for HQ campus related functions HQ Tours Guest and Associate inquiries and other functions as needed
• Serves as a point of contact for all associate workplace inquiries and assistance including routing to appropriate Workplace Services/Facilities teams
• Supports and assists with coordination of service requests for the Workplace Janitorial Operations and Corporate Security Teams
• Interacts professionally with all clients guests and Workplace Services team daily
• Works collaboratively with other Workplace Services specialists to complete daily tasks and event planning as needed
• Provides support to Workplace Management leadership on tasks/projects as needed
• Anticipates associate service needs including asking questions to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible
• Addresses associate service needs in a professional positive and timely manner
• Assists other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt associate service
• Coordinates tasks and work with other departments to ensure that the department runs efficiently
• Adheres to all standards policies and procedures
• Strives to improve service performance and actively promotes the Workplace Services team
• Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by Managers

The hourly pay range for this position is $24.23 to $40.96.
