The FLEX HQ Recruiter is a key member of the Talent Acquisition team and plays a critical role in helping to shape the workforce at Marriott International.

FLEX is a temporary full-time position with an initial assignment of one year and the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

Job Summary

The FLEX HQ Recruiter is a key member of the Direct Sourcing Program primarily supporting Marriotts HQ and above property locations. Key responsibilities include sourcing and redeploying current FLEX associates to new assignments as well as recruiting external candidates for FLEX opportunities. This role will also collaborate with team members both in the FLEX org and externally in providing a seamless experience for the candidate and hiring manager. The FLEX HQ Recruiter will report to the Direct Sourcing Program Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service building relationships the ability to communicate effectively with Executive stakeholders and maintain organization in a fast-paced growth environment.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • BA/BS degree and 3 years experience as a recruiter
  • Strong tech proficiency with quick learning ability.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport and influencing.
  • Effective organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Highly resourceful with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred

  • Contingent labor experience

Core Work Activities

Hiring and Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with stakeholders such as assignment managers HR and finance partners to ensure alignment and support for talent needs.
  • Lead efforts in identifying current FLEX associates for redeployment to new assignments including maintaining the FLEX database to ensure all qualified FLEX associates are being considered by hiring managers
  • Lead full cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions including recruitment strategy talent sourcing hiring manager collaboration candidate screening interview coordination offer process facilitation and onboarding coordination.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on teamwork service excellence and effective issue resolution.
  • Provide overflow onboarding support to accommodate the growing number of hires due to direct sourcing and recruiting initiatives ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Demonstrate proactive organized and analytical problem-solving skills to navigate challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.

Support FlexForce

  • Lead role in sourcing and recruiting candidates for the on-demand workforce for headquarters and regional offices ensuring a diverse talent pool.

The pay range for this position is $35.48 to $57.35 per hour.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
