Job Description

The Burlington Public Schools is seeking an energetic hardworking individual to add to the food service program. This is a permanent position for 17.5 hours a week 3.5 hours daily).

General responsibilities include the efficient operation of the kitchen in cooperation with the Manager and assisting the manager in the following functions:

  • Preparation and serving meals cleanup operations of kitchen and equipment
  • Monitor cash receipts and cashier as needed
  • Perform other duties as required by th Manager
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards in accordance to ServSafe protocol

There is no experience necessary for the position and training is provided. Must be reliable flexible andenjoyworking in a team environment. Must be willing to be ServSafe trained. Must be able to follow all safety standards as well as lift and occasionally move up to 30 pounds.

Compensation: Starting rate is $19.85/hour

Hours: 9:30am1:00pm

Start Date: Position is available immediately
