Performs basic building repair maintenance and carpentry of all building systems such as cabinets and counters flooring drywall ceiling roofing trim doors windows paint/varnish insulation foundations crawl spaces and driveways/walk ways. Replaces filters thermostats valves and motors. Performs basic plumbing maintenance and repair to bathrooms kitchens hot water heater systems clogged drains toilets hose bibs and faucets. Skilled in the use and care of common hand tools required in building and equipment maintenance and construction work.
Requirements
Must have knowledge of occupational hazards and safety procedures of the trade. Need ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees tenants and the general public. Communicate effectively in written and verbal form complete all assignments accurately and timely. Construction/Maintenance certification a plus. Construction building maintenance HVAC electric and plumbing experience desirable. Must have a valid driver s license.
