Job Overview
We are seeking a Workshop Manager with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team at AUTOBAHN TRUCKING CORPORATION PRIVATE LIMITED. As the Workshop Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our workshop managing a team of technicians and ensuring the efficient and timely completion of all repairs and maintenance tasks. This is a fulltime position based in Verna Goa India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Diploma / Bachelors degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance procedures
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities
- Experience in debt management and handling product concerns
- Knowledge of warranties and experience in submitting claims
- Ability to coordinate with sales team for vehicle deliveries and pickups
- Experience in AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and RECON (Reconditioning) is a plus
- Knowledge of labor relations and experience in addressing employeerelated issues
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage the daytoday operations of our workshop including prioritizing tasks and assigning work to technicians
- Ensure the efficient and timely completion of all repairs and maintenance tasks
- Monitor and maintain inventory of parts and supplies and order new supplies when necessary
- Coordinate with sales team to schedule vehicle deliveries and pickups
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Manage warranties including submitting claims and following up on reimbursements
- Collaborate with labor relations department to address any employeerelated issues
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Conduct regular meetings with the workshop team to provide updates and address any concerns
