Details on job description / responsibilities:
- Managing existing customers
- Monthly Sales demand forecasting and reporting through sales project management (Funnel Management)
- Prepare activity schedules activity reports prospect lists
- Visit clients f2f and set up and conduct virtual meetings
- Sell products / Close deals
- Promote products to (prospective) clients
- Arrange contract and payment details with the client
- Finding potential/new customers in academic and industrial/private sectors
- Build and maintain strong longlasting relationships with existing and new customers
- Arrange and do demonstrations/presentations
- Arrange deliveries/installation of products
- Handle clients queries in oral and/or written form
- Receive customer orders
- Update records
- Prepare quotations
- Arrange servicing of equipment
- Provide continuous feedback to the PC Manager
- Keep sales records
- Organise and attend conferences/exhibitions
- Keep track of competitors (products/activities)
- Meet sales targets
- Train customers
- Followup on customer payments
- Arrange the ordering of equipment
- Arrange equipment for branches and congresses
- Arrange productrelated workshops congresses and roadshows
- Assist representatives with specific product requirements
- Ensure marketing material for the product is current and available
- Present market related data to the Area Manager & PC Manager for budgeting
- Keep current records on competitive products
- Provide product training to representatives and dealers when
- Provide product demonstrations when required.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets and expand customer base
- Always stay up to date with products and software through self learning activities and attending webinars
- Participate in budget planning (unit forecasting).
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification
Bachelors degree in Geology Physics Chemistry Engineering or related field. Masters or Ph.D. is preferred.
Experience
Minimum 5 years professional sales experience particularly in scientific or technical products is essential.

Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
