Primary Responsibilities
- Serve greet and assist customers with loading/unloading in the yard/nursery providing a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Be a Team Player by acting as a liaison between the operations and sales teams facilitating smooth communication and collaboration.
- Own the sales process and verify inventory for sales orders for customers.
- Be proactive and Work until the job is done right on all customer opportunities to grow sales and build rapport with current and potential customers.
- Collaborate with the branch team to continuously identify opportunities to enhance the overall instore experience for customers.
- Stay informed about the products available in the yard/nursery to provide relevant information to customers.
- Use and operate radio communication in a professional manner with all other employees.
- Perform all duties in accordance with the MNI Direct company policies as they pertain to Sales and Operations.
- Perform other duties as required and serve as a resource for the MNI Direct team.
Required Skills Knowledge & Training
EDUCATION:
- High School diploma or secondary diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Green industry experience or knowledge of horticulture landscape and/or nursery a plus
SKILLS AND TRAINING:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Expert customer service skills
- Ability to operate the customer ordering and inventory system.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers. business associates.
- Ability and desire to learn plant names characteristics and sources.
- Possess and maintain a valid clean state Drivers License.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged walking and standing
- Ability to lift 2050 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (MF)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
