Job Description
The OWU Athletics Department is looking to hire Student Workers
Summary:
The Athletics Department is seeking enthusiastic and reliable student workers to assist in supporting the daily operations events and activities within the department. This position provides students with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fastpaced and dynamic environment while contributing to the success of our athletic programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Support:
- Assist with gameday operations including setup and teardown of equipment ticketing concessions and crowd management.
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist guests athletes and staff providing information and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Help maintain athletic facilities ensuring cleanliness organization and readiness for practices games and events.
Equipment Management:
- Organize and distribute athletic gear maintain inventory and assist in equipment upkeep.
Marketing and Promotions:
- Support the promotion of athletic events through social media flyer distribution and event signage.
Other Duties:
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to support the departments operations. Any previous experience working athletic events is preferred but not required. Must be dependable and be able to work nights and weekends.
- Comfortable standing walking and performing physical tasks for extended periods.
- Other tasks as assigned.
