Job Description
Seeking a HR Generalist for a manufacturing company in/near Hanover PA.
Essential Functions of the Job Include:
Assist in a Recruiting efforts for the plant vis hiring or through temp agencies
Keep HRIS system up to date with any needed changes and additions
Assist with HR projects for the plant
Assist with Employee Relations efforts and provide great customer service
Conduct onboarding and offboarding processes
Verifies weekly payroll processing for the plant and office
Tracks attendance and FMLA records. Administers attendance system.
Handles unemployment comp paperwork and hearings
Assist with plant grievance system
Administers drug testing program for the plant
Prepares reports as needed
Desired Education Certifications Experience:
Would prefer a BSHuman Resources but not required
Another degree BS or Associates or 5 plus years of experience doing similar tasks
PHR certification a plus
