Sales Account Manager Construction

The Sales Account Manager will play a key role in driving growth and building strong relationships with new and existing clients. This individual will focus on increasing market presence by promoting The Forest Groups suite of services identifying client needs and providing customized solutions. Candidates of all experience levels will be considered for this role.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain longlasting relationships with clients understanding their business needs and providing solutions that align with The Forest Groups offerings.
Contribute to the creation and of sales strategies that expand The Forest Groups market reach in asphalt paving concrete landscape construction and related services.
Meet or exceed sales targets through proactive lead generation account management and upselling opportunities.
Stay informed on market trends competitor offerings and industry developments to position The Forest Group competitively and respond effectively to client needs.
Prepare and present proposals negotiate contract terms and ensure successful closing of sales agreements in alignment with company policies.
Work closely with internal teams including operations estimating and finance to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Maintain detailed records of sales activities customer interactions and account updates. Provide regular sales performance reports and insights to management.
Coordinate trade shows and industry events along with planning and design.
Attend industry events networking functions and companyhosted gatherings during and/or after business hours to build relationships represent The Forest Groups brand and identify potential business opportunities.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Sales Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2 years of experience in sales account management preferably within construction materials or a related industry.
Property management experience is considered a valuable asset.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
Indepth knowledge of construction materials and services with the ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Ability to travel within the Greater Toronto Area as required.
Strong negotiation communication and presentation skills.
Selfmotivated with a resultsdriven approach and strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
