Location: Remote USA preferred locations in EST

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify develop and close sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Utility Scale and Community Solar project developers EPC s system integrators asset owners and design engineering firms
  • Actively pursue sales leads and build a sales pipeline
  • Assist with forecast of revenue on a regular basis and review sales results to ensure that established targets are being met; take corrective action where required
  • Nurture the relationship with leading PV project developers at multiple levels to ensure that SolarEdge remains the supplier of choice for their installations
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers partners and stakeholders to drive market penetration.
  • Stay informed about market trends competitor activities and regulatory developments to make informed business decisions.
  • Work closely with crossfunctional teams across the division and across geographies including product management engineering Solution Engineering and operations to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment of goals and plans.
  • Provide input regarding marketing and product positioning strategies specific to the US market

Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in a technical business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in managing sales with success growing revenue
  • Ability to Travel 50
  • Previous experience in the PV industry will be a significant advantage. A knowledge of Utility scale and community solar is an added plus
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product offering
  • An ability to communicate product benefits to potential customers in easytograsp terms
  • Proven track record of identifying negotiating and closing large revenue deals
  • Ability to identify prospect and convert new accounts
  • Demonstrated success in operating effectively in a fastpaced complex rapid growth environment
  • Possesses a distinct customer service focus with demonstratable skills in handling complex customer issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the North American utility scale and community solar energy market
  • Strategic thinker who is a selfstarter and can drive results in a dynamic and rapidly evolving market
  • A hungry gogetter with a strong cando and handson attitude

FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE

At SolarEdge we are committed to fair transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive market informed compensation. Total compensation includes base commission and equity. Target base salary is 120K 130K. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. However base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates such as jobrelated knowledge skills experience and other objective business considerations.

Even more importantly please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements including a bonus and/or equity awards in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
