A reputable public accounting firm is seeking a motivated and eagertolearn EntryLevel Tax Associate to join their team in Lakewood. This position offers excellent room for growth and is ideal for individuals who are passionate about a career in tax accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal state and local tax laws.
- Maintain organized records of financial documents and tax filings.
- Collaborate with senior accountants and other team members on various tax projects.
- Stay updated with current tax regulations and changes in tax law.
Qualifications:
- BA in accounting or pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field or having relevant certification.
- No prior public accounting experience required.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
