Job Description
Job Summary:
5 Star Homecare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated PartTime Personal Care Aide to join our team in North Myrtle Beach South Carolina.
As a Personal Care Aide you will provide essential inhome care services to our clients helping them maintain a high quality of life and independence.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a hourly position with a competitive pay rate. Additionally we offer paid training flexible scheduling opportunities for advancement within the company as well as mileage!
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing dressing and grooming.
Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up.
Prepare and serve meals according to clients dietary needs and preferences.
Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management.
Accompany clients to appointments and provide transportation if needed.
Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
Document clients progress and any changes in their condition reporting to the designated representative.
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Comply with all state and federal laws and regulations regarding personal care aide duties.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a healthcare or homecare setting preferred.
Completion of a Personal Care Aide training program or certification.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Compassionate patient and reliable with excellent communication skills.
Must be physically and emotionally capable of performing the duties required.
