Job Description
Under the supervision of the office manager is responsible for assuring that cases are scheduled in an accurate manner using the manual and automated systems facilitates telephone messages and usage with a high level of service. Assists in medical records management to support an accurate completed medical document. Maintains accurate records associated with the scheduling and the processing of patient documentation. Utilizes the automated systems to support the scheduling functions. Performs all tasks in a manner that is cost effective without compromising quality care. Upholds the business office philosophy and objectives while adhering to federal and state guidelines including CMS Medicare and OIG requirements. Projects a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining the confidentiality of patients and coworkers. Maintain good communications with other staff as well as internal and external customers such as keeping the office manager advised of any problems. Performs all other duties as assigned. Able to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience tact stamina and endurance.
