ROLE SUMMARY: In addition to regular Host responsibilities the Lead Host will assist with reservations and attend to all inquiries via telephone email and in person. The ideal candidate possesses a guest first attitude strong commitment to service and excellent communication skills. We ask for a willingness to receive and offer direction be solutions oriented and encourage a hospitality driven environment. Open availability is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Greet and escort guests to tables in a gracious and professional manner.
- Interact with guests and fellow staff members in a polite courteous and hospitable manner to ensure all guests have an exemplary dining experience.
- Greet and acknowledge VIPs in a professional manner.
- Ensure that all reservations are recorded following established procedures with full and clear information.
- Have an indepth knowledge and understanding of the operation of the business including all food and drink menus to ensure that you can respond to customer inquiries.
- Maintain a proactive approach to solving any guests questions or problems.
- Direct guest to the appropriate waiting area and provide updates table statuses.
- Bid farewell to guests using their name and encouraging them to return to the restaurant.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.
- Assist in supervising food servers bussers and food runners as it relates to the guest contact and table information.
- Communicate with Management regarding special orders cake orders special requests and VIP requests.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the company
- Ensure compliance of all procedures and policies set forth by the company division and Health Department
- Assist with LPD requests.
- Liaise with clients and customers to coordinate corporate events.
- Liaise with all departments to ensure the best service is provided to our customers.
- Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year experience managing reservations.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Suite.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be reliable responsible and trustworthy with excellent time management skills.
- Must have high energy great communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand during entire shift often up to 8 hours with frequent bending squatting and lifting plates boxes and objects up to 30lbs.
