Job Skills / Requirements

Janco Commercial Cleaning is seeking a HR Generalist/Recruiter to manage all aspects of recruiting onboarding and HR functions for our growing janitorial workforce. This role will ensure we hire qualified candidates maintain compliance with HR regulations and support employee relations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Hiring:

    • Source screen and interview janitorial candidates through Kwantek.
    • Coordinate and conduct inperson and phone interviews.
    • Manage background checks using Checkr and ensure compliance with hiring policies.
  • Onboarding & Training:

    • Oversee new hire onboarding including paperwork orientation and ERP activation.
    • Work with trainers to schedule monthly orientations and ensure a smooth start for employees.
  • HR Compliance & Administration:

    • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies.
    • Manage benefits administration for parttime and fulltime employees.
    • Oversee the Mineral platform for HR compliance and training.
  • Employee Relations & Support:

    • Address employee concerns and facilitate resolutions.
    • Support supervisors in performance management and employee retention efforts.
    • Ensure proper documentation of employee evaluations and disciplinary actions.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in HR recruiting or a similar role (janitorial industry preferred).
  • Familiarity with Kwantek Team Software by WorkWave and Checkr is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Education Requirements (Any)

High School
Prefer college level classes in HR
