Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts new hire orientation and onboarding employee termination payroll and benefits company policy and procedure adherence. In addition this person will build strong relationships with our clients managers to help them with their human resource needs.

  • Oversee full cycle of recruitment efforts
  • Develop and oversee new hire orientation onboarding efforts and employee termination process
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities
  • Oversee corporate responsibility and volunteer programs

Qualifications :

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A bachelors degree and 5-7 years of experience in Business with a Human Resources concentration or as a Human Resources Generalist is required.  Previous experience working with an HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now) is required. Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to communicate with courtesy and diplomacy efficiently follow written and verbal instructions provide information and maintain effective relationships with staff management and outside contacts. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.

 

CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

PHR or SPHR certification is helpful.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
