About the company
Join a leading shared services organisation supporting regional operations across Asia. In this role you ll lead a high-performing HR support team driving efficient service delivery process optimisation and people-focused solutions within a centralised HR framework.

Our client is seeking for an experienced HR Manager (Team Lead) to oversee a team within a centralised HR operations environment. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end HR processes including employee lifecycle activities compensation-related transactions and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities and a passion for operational excellence.

Salary: up to RM7000
Location: Melaka

Key responsibilities:
  • Oversee and lead a team responsible for HR operational support including employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding transfers promotions and exits.

  • Manage and ensure timely execution of HR-related payments including joining bonuses completion incentives salary adjustments and other contractual entitlements.

  • Ensure all HR transactions are processed accurately and comply with company policies audit requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation or digital tools to drive efficiency within HR operations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and prepare regular reports on staff movement compensation and team performance.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including payroll finance and HR business partners to ensure seamless execution of processes.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors or service providers related to HR support activities.

  • Provide mentorship coaching and ongoing support to team members including conducting performance evaluations and fostering professional development.



Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.

  • 3 5 years of relevant experience in HR operations shared services or payroll environments.

  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel.

  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g. Power Automate) is a plus.

  • Experience with HR systems such as SuccessFactors or Workday is an added advantage.

  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.

  • Excellent written and spoken English is required.
