Client Overview: We are hiring for a large search engine company. Join our team to support usability research and user experience design for locationbased services on web and mobile platforms.
Role Summary: As a Usability Researcher 3 with a focus on qualitative research methods you will contribute to supporting usability research by conducting interviews benchmarking studies and usability tests. Your insights and recommendations will help improve the search engines user experience.
4. What are the key responsibilities
Plan and conduct indepth interviews benchmarking studies and usability tests with customers to understand their workflows pain points goals and motivations.
Document interview outputs in detailed notes.
Analyze qualitative data to identify patterns themes and opportunities for improvement.
Create presentations and reports to communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure research insights are incorporated into the product development process.
5. What experience are we looking for to drive success
MUSTHave Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience with qualitative research methods and customer interviews.
Ability to analyze qualitative data and derive insights/themes.
Experience in creating compelling presentations and reports.
Bachelors degree in HumanComputer Interaction Psychology or equivalent training.
Strong verbal and written communication skills interpersonal skills and customer empathy.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience working with search engines or geospatial tools.
Previous experience running benchmarking studies and understanding customer workflows.
