JOB TITLE:
Upward Bound Summer Program 2025 Math Instructor
JOB PURPOSE:
Aid in delivery of an ageappropriate fourweek Math curriculum taught to multiple grade levels that encompasses a range of participant ages and learning styles.
Dates of summer program (including training) are May 27thJuly 3rd 2025
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work cooperatively with science instructors to teach math concepts needed for participants to successfully complete their summer science courses.
Aid in supplementing Aleks program with active handson practice of math concepts.
Must be available to teach Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30am11:30am and attend study hall at least twice per week Monday Wednesday or Thursday 3:30pm5pm.
Attend all weekly academic meetings as required.
REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Junior standing at the undergraduate level in Math or related field; 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.
Required education licensure certification registration or other requirements:
Successful criminal background check necessary for working with minors is required.
