Functional skill set:
- Working knowledge on all phases of SDLC including requirements gathering analysis design development testing deployment and integration.
- Understand the requirements (both functional and nonfunctional) with inputs from business analysts and participate in creating high level estimate.
- Work with crossfunctional teams to develop solutions that eliminate the cumbersome and errorprone manual process and accelerates the entire compensation process by maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Design the system architecture data model information flow input and output configurations and the reports etc. as per business rules.
- Perform unit testing support UAT activities and provide production support as well as handle change requests and incidents
- Knowledge of ITIL process
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good team player with strong analytical/technical skills.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out the tasks to completion quickly while maintaining quality.
- Working experience with Agile methodology
Incentive Management skill set:
- Understand Insurance domain including but not limited to different types of insurance agent/producer agency broker agent hierarchy
- insurance regulation and regulatory bodies.
- Knowledge of agent/producer onboarding commission types including overwrites/rollups adjustments draws contests deductions.
- Knowledge of integration with policy admin systems downstream systems like payroll tax reporting data warehouse etc.
Technical skill sets
- Configuration experience on any incentive management tool like Varicent or Callidus
- Proficient in writing SQL / PostgreSQL queries
- Knowledge of Python and JavaScript will be an added advantage
