Job Description

The Business Development Associate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of eLimu by identifying and securing new business opportunities forming strategic partnerships and expanding eLimus market presence. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking sales acumen and a passion for education technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the educational technology sector.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities including partnerships licensing deals and client acquisition particularly in the K12 education space.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including schools Brands educational institutions and industry influencers.

  • Conduct market research to understand trends customer needs and competitive landscape and use this information to drive strategic decisions.

  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and pitches to potential clients and partners highlighting the value and benefits of our products.

  • Work closely with the product marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with overall company goals and product offerings

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute digital marketing campaigns that support business development efforts including lead generation content marketing and social media strategies

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales materials training programs and tools to support the sales team and enhance their effectiveness.

  • Lead negotiations and finalize contracts ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.

  • Track and report on business development activities pipeline progress and performance metrics to the senior management team.


Qualifications :

  • 4 years of experience in business development sales or a related field preferably within the EdTech or educational sector.

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Education or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Strong understanding of the educational technology market and K12 education sector.

  • Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities

  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales enablement tools.

  • Understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools including SEO SEM social media and content marketing.

  • A genuine interest in education and a passion for creating positive learning experiences for children.
