ETL Test Engineer

Location: Philadelphia USA (Hybrid) (Contract to hire)

Exp: 5 Years

GC/USC only

Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required.

Travel Expectation: Up to 10%



These are contract to hire positions for 6 months after 6 months depending on candidate performance client may hire him/her on their direct payroll

Client/ job location: Philadelphia Hybrid mode (3 days in client office)

Candidates willing to relocate to Phili are also welcome

Only US nationals or GC are required (no visa sponsorship now or in future)

Required Past Experience:

5years of experience with a proven experience in ETL testing

Hands on experience in SQL with advanced level skills

Experience in scripting language (shell/python)

Knowledge and understanding in Data Warehouse and data modeling

Experience in healthcare insurance domain would be nice to have

Experience using Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence tools such as Datastage / Informatica GCP Bigquery Tableau and SSRS etc.

Willingness to continuously learn & share learnings with others and capability to collaborate with stakeholders and project leaders to understand requirements deliverables

Experience working in an agile and collaborative team environment

Excellent written and verbal communication presentation and professional speaking skills

Proven problemsolving skills and attention to detail with a commitment to excellence and high Standards



Required Skills and Abilities:

Mandatory Skills Data Warehouse ETL/ELT Testing SQL UNIX Shell Scripting

Understanding of the project functional and Nonfunctional requirements and Handson experience in QA ETL Testing. Test Plan Test Cases development

Test Data Driven solutions by defining test cases and test strategy and provide support for application codes and solutions

Creating Test Scripts execution of test case and defects status reporting

Execute ETL/ELT jobs or scripts using enterprise schedulers / Cloud Schedulers across various environments for testing the functionality

Hands on experience in writing SQL queries and unix scripts

Log defects and triage the defects to ensure logical closure of the defects

Work extensively within the Cloud ecosystem ( Data platforms like GCP Big Query)

Strong testing experience in Data warehousing

UNIX SHELL SCRIPTING , SCRIPTING LANGUAGE , SQL QUERIES , TABLEAU , TESTING , SQL , DATA WAREHOUSING
