As a Workplace Service Engineer 2 you will:
- Install maintain and operate computing printing and network devices for customer office automation.
- Configure COTS software on networked and standalone workstations.
- Configure network client software on LAN workstations.
- Create maintain and troubleshoot user access for static and mobile devices.
- Work with Organizational Units in Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Execute support requests work orders and other tasks.
- Contribute to IT Security compliance and remediation.
- Perform Security Compliance Patching of Workstations and Servers.
- Maintain and set user ACL for Shared Network and Group Mailbox.
- Update user machine software and applications via SCCM with AFL SW Approval.
- Work with smart cards or USB tokens to authenticate users and securely access domains.
- Deputize for highergrade staff if required.
- Perform other duties as may be required.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 2 years postrelated experience or secondary educational qualification with 4 years postrelated experience.
- CompTIA A or Microsoft Certified IT Professional certification.
- Proven experience working with Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager.
- Proven experience working with Active Directory Objects user accounts and permissions.
- 2 years experience working in an ICT CIS environment.
- 2 years experience supporting IT users desktop hardware and software.
- 2 years experience working in an IT administration role.
- Knowledge of the capabilities and deployment of Personal Computers (PC).
- Knowledge of current operating systems and office automation software.
