Position Summary:As a dedicated solo truck driver for our partners account youll play a pivotal role in the transportation of critical railroad parts across designated routes. Your journey will begin in Dayton OH embarking on a 5day weekly route with stops in Fort Wayne IN Elkhart IN Chicago IL and other locations as required. With a focus on safety and efficiency youll handle both deliveries and pickups ensuring timely and secure transport of freight. Hazmat endorsement is a prerequisite for this role as 20% of the loads will consist of brokendown locomotive parts. While weekend and holiday work is part of the job due to the 24/7 nature of our operations we prioritize worklife balance and ensure schedules align with specific route requirements. We are currently seeking drivers for a 5day weekly route starting in Dayton OH. This route involves making deliveries and pickups to various customers and vendor warehouses in Fort Wayne IN Elkhart IN Chicago IL and other areas as needed before returning to Dayton OH. Weekend work will be required on this lane with schedules rotating based on customer freight needs.

Miles:

• 20 stops per week
• Weekly mileage ranges from 2191 to 2600 miles
• Average weekly pay: $1495.05 / Annual pay: $76248.00

Schedule:Departure times vary betweenbased on customer needs and route type. This is a 24/7 operation including weekends with schedules tailored to specific routes.

Home Time:Home time includes a 34hour reset day varying depending on customer shipping days.

Combination of drop and hook and tailgating. Drivers may need to lift boxes (up to 50 lbs.) and assist with moving freight to the back of the trailer. Access to a manual pallet jack provided.

Requirements:

• 6 months of recent tractortrailer experience
• Hazmat endorsement required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Drivers are scheduled to work holidays except Christmas unless otherwise specified by the customer. Holiday work is compensated with regular pay plus holiday pay.
