ABOUT WOMEN IN SALES FOR A GREEN FUTURE

This project delves into the challenges and opportunities faced by green sales initiatives in Africa focusing on how sales training capacity building and mentorship can impact the sectors emerging market dynamics. It also emphasizes the role of sales professionals in shaping the green transformation. The overarching goal of the project is to skill upskill and re skill women and youth specifically in the field of sales. By honing their sales capabilities the project aims to empower participants to promote and sell ecofriendly products and services effectively. This in turn contributes to the overarching objective of propelling companies to the forefront of the green transformation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Yusudi in partnership with GIZ seeks passionate Sales Trainer & Coach to lead capacity building in green energy sales. We need vibrant proactive individuals to conduct skills analysis design learning journeys create material undertake training and provide coaching. The project aims to up skills 2500 young people in a measure related to career in salesof whom 70% are women and 5% PwDs for the next 2 years.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for youth and women focusing on essential sales skills personal development skills and green industryspecific knowledge.
  • Design & develop training content to address the specific needs and challenges faced by participants in the program.
  • Provide inperson and virtual training of the participants including developing training schedules coordinating learning writing reports and analyzing data.
  • Establish regular feedback mechanisms to gather input from participants trainers and stakeholders on the effectiveness of the training program. Use this feedback to make adjustments and improvements as needed.
  • Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Continuously monitor participants progress throughout the training program using both qualitative and quantitative measures. Analyze data from the learning management system (LMS) to identify trends challenges and areas for improvement and develop strategies to address any barriers to participation and ensure a 100% completion rate.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities participant progress and program effectiveness for reporting and evaluation purposes.


Requirements

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Deep knowledge of adult learning theory and how to apply these theories in the design of learning experiences & content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to edit and perform quality assurance (QA) on your own work
  • Ability to manage the full training cycle including participant onboarding inperson activities and webbased learning & support.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a very fluid working environment.
  • Passion for sustainability: Have a genuine passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship with a commitment to promoting green practices and driving positive change within the industry.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Proactive Organized result oriented and works with minimal supervision.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Instructional Design Instructional Training & Elearning experience
  • Required relevant work experience: 5 years of related sales training coaching and personal development training experience. Experience in the green energy sector or sustainable technology is an added advantage.
  • Experience in designing and delivering sales training programs with a strong emphasis on skill development and performance improvement.
  • Experience in Articulate storyline 360 & Scorm.
  • Experience training & working with PWDs is an added advantage.
  • Own a personal laptop and have access to an internet connection for virtual aspects of the training.
