Bookkeeper

Work Setting: Office of a Restaurant

Requirements:

• Education: College CEGEP or other nonuniversity certificate or diploma

  in accounting finance or a related field.

• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a bookkeeping or financial role.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and

  receivable general ledger entries and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare and process invoices expense reports and financial

  statements.

• Monitor and manage financial transactions and ensure compliance with

  accounting principles.

• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.

• Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and financial

  planning activities.

• Adhere to company policies and financial regulations including tax

  compliance.

• Provide financial reports and information to support decisionmaking

  and financial analysis.

Security and Safety: Criminal record check.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• May need to sit for extended periods and use computer systems for data

  entry.
